Pecking Order is a flock and poultry-breeding record-management app. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.
Pecking Order stores the flock information you enter in the app on your device. This may include chicken names, notes, dates, breeding records, family relationships, chick-batch records, custom fields, and photographs that you choose to add.
Your information is used only to provide the app's flock-management, breeding, family-tree, record-keeping, backup, and export features. Pecking Order does not operate a user-account system, cloud database, advertising service, or analytics service for your flock records.
The app may access photos or files only when you choose to add a photo, create a backup, restore a backup, export information, or share an export. Backups and exports are created only when you initiate them.
If you choose to share or save a backup or export using another app, cloud-storage provider, email service, or device location, that service handles the information under its own privacy policy. Pecking Order does not automatically send your flock records to Project Pecking Order.
Pecking Order may offer an optional one-time in-app purchase, such as the Breeder Unlock. Payments are processed by Google Play. Project Pecking Order does not receive or store your payment-card details.
Google Play may process purchase and entitlement information so that it can provide the purchase, confirm ownership, and restore eligible purchases. Google's handling of this information is governed by Google's own privacy policies and terms.
Information remains on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app. Uninstalling the app normally removes its local app data from that device. Backups or exports you have separately saved or shared remain under your control and must be deleted from the location where you saved them.
Pecking Order is intended for adult poultry keepers and breeders. It is not designed for children, and Project Pecking Order does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This policy may be updated when the app changes. The current version will always be published on this page, with its updated date shown above.
